Jackson Hospital's Radiology Department participates in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

August 26, 2014, Marianna, FL.   After a day of caring for patients and before going home Friday, employees from Jackson Hospital’s Radiology Department got a quick chill in the scorching 105 degree heat paying forward the local and global with an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge of their own.

These individuals along with the entire Radiology department provide highly technical imaging services to patients.  In fact, Jackson Hospital’s radiology department has the Southeast’s first, state-of-the-art MRI along with full-service CT, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasonography, and traditional X-ray services. 

Recently, interventional radiologist Dr. William Scott Campbell, Jr., joined the Hospital to perform percutaneous and CT/Ultrasound-guided needle biopsies of lung, thyroid, liver, and lymph node lesions, drain placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, myelograms, and lumbar using standard CT, MRI, and routine audiograph interpretations.
