Jackson Hospital selects two new medical stipend recipients


Jackson Hospital proudly announces two new medical stipend recipients for 2014, Mary Beth Alderman and Samuel Muniz.  Jackson Hospital recognizes the need for a dedicated and well trained medical staff to help achieve the hospital’s vision of becoming the best community healthcare system in the nation.  “Supporting local students achieve their medical goals is a great long term strategy for the hospital to meet its mission of providing exceptional healthcare to every patient every day,” according to Larry Meese, the CEO at Jackson Hospital.  

Mary Beth Alderman currently attends the University of Florida College of Medicine and plans to specialize in pediatrics.  Mary Beth’s parents are BJ and Jason Alderman, all of Chipley.  Her dream is to become a pediatrician and promote the health of in children in Jackson County. 

Samuel Muniz will graduate from Florida State University on May 2nd with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and double minors of psychology and chemistry.  Samuel will attend the Florida State University College of Medicine beginning this summer.  Samuel’s parents are Orlando and Louaned Muniz, all of Marianna.
