Jackson Hospital Announces the Ribbon Cutting and Open House for the new Labor & Delivery

Marianna, FL, January 21, 2014. Celebrating its 75th year Jackson Hospital announces the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the renovated Labor & Delivery Suites to be held on January 29th at 11am on the fourth floor of Jackson Hospital-4250 Hospital Drive Marianna, FL. Funding for this renovation is from a generous $150,000 donation by the Jackson Hospital Foundation raised from the proceeds of the 2013 Foundation Gala, the December Lights of Love ceremony, the annual Fall James T. Cook Memorial Golf Tournament, and through generous donations from major Foundation donors. The public is invited to tour the facilities and enjoy light refreshments.

The ceremony includes a ribbon cutting and publicity photo showcasing the department, the East Jackson County Economic Development Council, The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce officials, the Marianna and surrounding areas business community and residents, and of course the Beauty Queens!
The public is invited to celebrate the renovation of this department and its medical outreach to Marianna and the surrounding communities.
“The hospital greatly appreciates the Foundation’s support of our mission to provide exceptional healthcare to every patient, every day with the renovation of the Labor and Delivery department,” says CEO Larry Meese. The Labor & Delivery project includes the modernization of the OB suites and birthing lights.
This renovation project began June, 2013.
