Brandy Rochelle is Jackson Hospital’s August Employee of the Month
Seeing a need and meeting it

 September 25, 2017 Marianna, FL - .The Employee Leadership Council of Jackson Hospital has selected Brandy Rochelle as Employee of the Month for August.  Brandy is a Reimbursement Analyst in the Department of Patient Financial Services. 

Brandy received the Employee of the Month designation due to her caring action observing a patient in need.  She saw a patient waiting in the front lobby and through circumstances beyond the patient’s control – having carpooled with another patient – the individual was kept from the wee hours of the morning through the noon hour.  Brandy saw that the patient needed a meal and purchased one. 

When recognized as the Employee of the Month, Brandy said, “I am so humbled by the recognition.”  She continued, “I have only been at the hospital for the last two years, moving from Tennessee to Marianna, and am so excited to be part of the organization.”

Jackson Hospital’s customer service ideals are outlined in its program called “Give ‘em the Pickle.”  The hospital’s customized program with video titled “What’s your Pickle?” with Bob Farrell, produced by Media Partners™, is implemented by Chief Nursing Officer Robbin Catt Pumphrey.   “Because of our employee-focused customer service efforts, Jackson Hospital is ranked nationally in the top 25% in customer service according to HealthStream Research,” says Pumphrey. 

Patients, visitors, and colleagues submit nominations of staff from whom they received superior customer service.  Each month a “Pickle” luncheon is held to recognize the top nominees.
